Hello!  This is the year I start first clinical rotation and although I was very nervous for my first day of clinical, I was excited by the challenges I was presented.  I felt as if I was where I was supposed to be from the second I walked onto the OB floor.  Although I haven’t decided what type of nursing I’m interested in yet, I really enjoy obstetrics.  I was put on the NICU my first day and the nursing staff was eager to teach me and encouraged me to be hands on.  It was a great experience and I’m looking forward to the rest of the semester.
